Abbott Chicago 5K - Estimated Attendance (10,000–12,000)

More than 10,000 runners will take over downtown streets for the Abbott Chicago 5K on Saturday morning. Major closures affect Ida B. Wells Drive, Michigan Avenue, State Street, Harrison Street, Franklin Street, Van Buren Street and Wacker Drive from early morning, so Chicago drivers should avoid the Loop race route and expect pickup restrictions near Grant Park.
